• Run the operational backbone of the Startup Program. Own application triage and review, credit issuance, partner UTM tracking, and CRM hygiene across HubSpot and Airtable, so the program scales cleanly and our lead can stay focused on strategy.
• Build and run the SF founder engine. Source and curate guest lists of high-quality founders, manage venues, invitations, RSVPs, and logistics end-to-end, and own flawless day-of execution so every event feels effortless and worth a founder's time.
• Drive light event marketing and promotion. Craft invitations, event landing pages, follow-up sequences, and post-event nurture that resonate with a founder and developer audience.
• Partner with Developer Relations to reach founders at scale and ensure the content, conversations, and programming land credibly with a technical crowd.
• Grow Render's footprint in the SF ecosystem. Build and maintain relationships across founders, operators, accelerators, and VC platform teams, and become a connective node in the community we're building.
• Close the loop on impact. Track attendance, attribution, and conversion from event to program to customer, so we know which rooms produce the best builders and can double down.

Product Specialist

• Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Render's datastores, anchored on Postgres. Your scope spans provisioning and lifecycle management, high availability and disaster recovery, backups and point-in-time recovery, scaling and performance, connection management, and the extension ecosystem.
• Drive prioritization across Render's data investments, balancing the leverage of foundational reliability work — replication, failover, storage performance — against near-term product and business needs, and being able to negotiate those tradeoffs.
• Partner deeply with Engineering & other Product teams to shape the technical direction of Render's data layer, ensuring architectural decisions optimize for durability, performance, and operational simplicity. Databases are where customer trust is won or lost, so an instinct for reliability and data safety is essential.
• Develop a strong, opinionated point of view on how managed Postgres needs to evolve to serve AI-native builders — from vector workloads and retrieval pipelines to databases that are spun up, branched, and torn down programmatically by agents at scale.
• Set the standard for how developers experience data on Render, providing clear guidance, sensible defaults, and abstractions that make it easy for teams to run production databases with confidence — without needing a DBA on staff.

Staff Product Manager – Datastores, Postgres Specialist

Product Operations

• Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for observability at Render. Your scope spans systems telemetry (logs, metrics, distributed tracing), OpenTelemetry-native instrumentation and export, agent and LLM observability (traces of model calls, tool use, and multi-step agent runs), and the cost and usage layer that makes token economics legible.
• Drive prioritization across observability investments, balancing foundational telemetry infrastructure against near-term product needs.
• Partner deeply with Engineering & other Product teams to shape the technical direction of Render's telemetry pipeline, ensuring architectural decisions optimize for signal fidelity, query performance, and cost at scale. Observability touches every product surface at Render, so the dexterity to understand the shape of our other investment areas is essential.
• Develop a strong, opinionated point of view on what observability means for AI-native builders. How will OTel conventions extend to agent workloads, what a trace of an agent run could look like inside Render, and how teams should reason about token spend, model routing, and cost attribution.

• Make a multi-service system legible at a glance. Design the views that let a developer see how their services connect and depend on each other, instead of stitching the picture together one service at a time. This comprehension gap is where design can make a complicated system feel cohesive and friendly.
• Design system-level observability. Aggregated logs, metrics, deploys, and events across a whole project, filterable by environment and resource — so a developer can answer "what's going on with my system" in one place. This is high-density information design where hierarchy, scanning speed, and progressive disclosure are the whole game.
• Design deployment as a coordinated act. When an application has many services, coordination gets hard. You'll design cross-service deployment and rollback, and a preview model so shipping feels safe at any scale.
• Design and consider all product states. You'll own the "unglamorous" moments. Like build errors, failed deploys, and empty states, and turn them into helpful experiences. Since developer tools earn their reputation by how they handle problems, your focus is on guiding the user to success even when things go wrong.
• Own a first-run experience worth recommending. The path from signup to first successful deploy is where trust starts. You'll design it so that a developer's first ten minutes make them want to tell someone.
• Contribute to where the platform goes next. Alongside the shipping work, you'll bring concept explorations and a strong point of view to a design-led discovery track, shaping the platform's future through a weekly critique cadence with the rest of the team.

Art Director

• Own Render's brand strategy and positioning. Partner with the Head of Design, product marketing, and executive stakeholders to lock positioning, brand attributes, and messaging architecture. You'll hold the hard line between production-grade credibility and the developer warmth that built Render.
• Set and uphold the creative vision across surfaces. From the marketing site to events (our developer conference, internal gatherings, and DevRel moments), social, brand, and product touchpoints, and the systems that make expression repeatable: visual identity, motion, illustration, voice, and tone. You'll define what great looks like and ensure everything we ship clears that bar.
• Lead and grow the brand design team. You'll manage, mentor, and develop a founding team of senior brand designers, and shape the team's structure as Render scales.
• Build brand as a system, not a series of one-offs. You'll drive the brand toward documented, reusable systems — guidelines, a versioned asset library, a maturing marketing design system — and keep brand and product design in sync as both evolve.
• Bring order to how our brand work ships. You'll shape how we prioritize and deliver creative work, maintaining a high-quality bar amid fast launch velocity and competing demands.

• Coordinate and manage onboarding processes for new hires.

• Serve as the named technical point of contact for a portfolio of Render's highest-value customers—primarily AI-native startups, technology companies, and scaled SaaS businesses
• Lead structured onboarding for new customers: architecture reviews, environment setup, team enablement, and establishing production readiness standards from day one
• Proactively monitor customer health signals—service stability, resource utilization, deployment frequency, support ticket patterns—and intervene early to prevent performance degradation and churn
• Conduct regular technical check-ins and executive business reviews (EBRs/QBRs) with engineering and infrastructure leaders, translating platform usage data into business-relevant insights
• Develop deep familiarity with each customer's architecture and growth trajectory to identify natural expansion opportunities: additional services, higher compute tiers, Postgres scaling, team seat growth, and new workload types
• Collaborate with Account Executives to surface expansion signals, build joint account plans, and execute upsell and cross-sell motions grounded in genuine technical advice
