About the role
- Collaborate with functional leaders across the Home Energy Aftermarket Parts & Service business in the development of a consensus demand plan
- Optimize supply planning processes by partnering with cross-functional teammates to strengthen MRP signals and balance inventory levels to support product availability
- Generate production orders and stock transfer orders aligned with demand signals to fulfill customer orders and meet stocking requirements
- Analyze demand, inventory, and production data to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities that enhance forecast accuracy and service levels
- Drive continuous improvement in master data governance to enhance planning reliability, system performance, and overall operational efficiency
- Facilitate planning and performance review meetings, presenting insights and driving root cause, corrective analysis where needed
- Develop and maintain productive relationships with internal and external suppliers to ensure alignment with demand plans and service requirements
- Coordinate purchasing activities, including purchase order creation and expediting, to ensure timely replenishment
- Partner with Purchasing to support NPD, manage pricing updates, and support sourcing decisions that strengthen supply continuity
- Oversee part lifecycle transitions, including discontinuation and last‑time‑buy planning, to ensure uninterrupted support for the Aftermarket Parts business
- Partner with Service Parts Warehouse teams to resolve purchase order issues, including part identification, quantity changes, and receipt discrepancies
- Lead or participate in cross‑functional projects with Warehouse Management to improve purchasing, receiving, stocking, and packaging processes for service parts
- Support Home Energy AMPS stakeholders and NPD teams by ensuring initial stocking levels are aligned with product launch requirements and forecasted demand
- Assist leadership with other duties as required
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
- 4+ years’ experience in Production Planning, Master Scheduling, Material Scheduling and/or Inventory Management
- Candidates should be proactive, have a positive attitude, be goal-driven, and take an analytical approach to problem solving and demonstrate the ability to apply process improvement principles and tools
- Experience with Microsoft Office products and other digital communication and presentation tools is strongly recommended.
- Experience with SAP or a similar ERP system is required.
- Kinaxis Rapid Response experience is preferred
- The ability to simultaneously manage and prioritize multiple requests is required.
- There will be about 15-20% travel required in this role.
