About the role
- Provides policy, program and procedure development and analysis
- Assesses impacts of government initiatives on the Region of Peel
- Develops and maintains programs for the Human Services Department
- Collects and analyzes data on Human Services needs in Peel
- Authors reports related to human services programs and services
- Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders for successful program development
Requirements
- Minimum of a college diploma or university degree
- A minimum of three years work experience in Human Services or related field
- Specific knowledge of Human Services programs
- Ability to understand and interpret the Ontario Works Act, MFIPPA, ODSP Act and other applicable legislation
- Extensive knowledge of multiple computer applications including MS Office, Access, Visio & MS Project
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
