About the role
- Provide support to execute standard and ETO/DTO inquiries and orders.
- Create/modify 2D/3D layouts and assemblies as per customer requirements.
- Design or improve basic components and products using design tools and methods.
- Work on ECRs/ECNs and create complete and accurate drawing packages within assigned time.
- Assist in solving basic engineering problems and developing basic test plans from existing protocols.
- Support creation of design documents, installation instructions, and customer data sheets.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with cross-functional teams and customers.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/production engineering from a reputed college with good academic record.
- 1 to 4 years of experience in designing industrial products (couplings, bearings, gearboxes, pumps, turbines, clutches, brakes, material handling equipment, machine tools).
- Ability to review and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Proficient in CAD software (SolidWorks, Solid Edge, AutoCAD, Creo, or Inventor).
- Knowledge of GD&T and drafting standards.
- Self-motivated, capable of working with minimal supervision and with sense of urgency.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Proficient in verbal, written communication and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical skills and critical thinking.
- Strong interpersonal, team player & collaboration skills.
- Travel: Regional or global, less than 10%.
- Language: Primarily English; other Indian, European or Asian languages could be beneficial.
