About the role

  • Aggressively prospect, qualify, and close new enterprise managed services opportunities
  • Build and execute strategic account plans focused on net-new logo acquisition
  • Leverage your existing rolodex of CXO and IT executive relationships to create pipeline
  • Lead the entire sales cycle—from discovery and solution design to negotiation and close
  • Collaborate with internal solution architects, service delivery, and executive teams to develop tailored proposals
  • Represent Red River at industry events, partner conferences, and executive briefings
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and CRM hygiene, providing timely updates to leadership

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of direct sales experience in IT Managed Services or IT outsourcing (Enterprise or Upper Mid-Market)
  • Proven success closing $20M+ in new annual bookings consistently
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to understand clients’ financial, operational, and strategic drivers
  • Demonstrated experience selling multi-tower managed services (e.g., help desk, NOC, cloud, security, network)
  • Ability to navigate complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders and long decision timelines
  • Excellent presentation, proposal development, and contract negotiation skills
  • Self-starter with a results-oriented mindset and a strong sense of ownership
  • Travel: Up to 30% (as needed for client meetings, events, and partner engagements)
