About the role

  • Generating multiple leads in various industries, with an emphasis on clients with gross monthly waste and recycling costs over $5,000 per month before taxes
  • Planning and managing business development activities using a collaborative strategy in order to acquire new clients
  • Identifying and targeting new prospects each week using various communication strategies
  • Lead generation through appropriate propositions, cold calling and ethical sales methods
  • Attending sales appointments, joint sales calls with VP & EVP and conduct virtual meetings with business prospects
  • Providing feedback to RTS's sales team and daily CRM updates to ensure follow-ups are conducted accurately and on time
  • Using customer and prospect CRM management software and update relevant information held in these systems
  • Monitoring and reporting on current market conditions, competitive market analysis and provide relevant feedback to management
  • Attending and presenting at client meetings as well as at other company functions, networking events or as necessary to perform duties and aid business development
  • Other duties or projects as requested

Requirements

  • Clear written and verbal fluency in English
  • Pure “hunting ability”
  • 3-5 years or more of proven sales experience
  • Experience in CRM software
  • Experience working in a fast-paced competitive environment and is results driven and competitive
  • Excellent client relations skills with the proven ability to form relationships and produce results
  • Strong communication skills: listening, writing, speaking, facilitating meetings
  • Superior organizational ability and time management skills
  • Proven track record in prospecting, qualifying and closing accounts over the phone/computer and in person
  • Ability to provide dynamic presentations and overcome objections
  • Strong negotiation skills and high emotional intelligence
  • Demonstratable success in a hunting role (past Presidents Club, Circle of Excellence awards etc.)
