About the role
- Monitor and maintain automation systems, focusing on RPA bots, to ensure high performance and reliability in production BOTs & environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical and operational issues, conducting root cause analyses and implementing preventative measures.
- Design, code, and test automation workflows and scripts to meet business requirements and align with architectural standards.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, and Architects to integrate automation solutions into the broader IT ecosystem.
- Track and report on system performance metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Document development processes, system configurations, and operational workflows for future reference.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for optimization and automation.
- Provide subject matter expertise for automation tools and technologies, offering technical guidance and support to other teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Programming/Systems, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Five (5) or more years of experience in development, operations, or technical support in RPA and Automation technologies.
- Proficient in automation tools and technologies, including RPA platforms (Automation Anywhere) - required
- Experience in both development (coding, testing) and operations (monitoring, troubleshooting) within automation systems.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive mindset to identify and resolve issues.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with technical teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of ITIL frameworks or similar incident and change management processes.
- Familiarity with cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and their automation capabilities is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, JavaScript) for automation and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Git) for deploying and managing automation pipelines.
- Experience designing and implementing automation workflows.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical or operational issues.
