About the role
- Support the successful development, pilot, testing, and launch of new solutions
- Work directly with colleagues across functions to embed solutions into company DNA and integrate with existing solutions, processes, and culture
- Develop and drive the strategic roadmap for the Procurement Platform, including prioritization of features and solutions aligned with omnichannel and ecosystem strategy
- Lead efforts to monetize the Procurement Platform, identify revenue-generating opportunities, and develop business models
- Design, launch, and manage an integration approach and framework for solution development
- Manage development, testing, and implementation of go-to-market plans including product positioning, marketing, training, and implementation
- Provide inputs into strategic direction and support policy implementation aligned with platform goals
- Drive understanding and hierarchy of solutions to address customer needs and enable sales to effectively sell those solutions
- Collaborate across finance, operations, legal, product, marketing, sales, and other teams to assess resources and capital for rapid development and launches
- Ensure effective collaboration, communication, and socialization to create and implement cohesive solution strategy and launch programs
- Facilitate workshops, ideation sessions, and day-to-day innovation activities, including ideation and testing with customers when appropriate
- Develop tools and processes to measure and monitor program implementation and process compliance
- Partner with sales enablement, communications, training, and marketing to share best practices globally
- Guide teams in employing agile engineering, design thinking, and rapid prototyping to accelerate platform development
- Own capital requests and ROI justifications to ensure alignment with business objectives and financial goals
- Perform related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Experience in product life cycle management including innovation, development, management and deployment from relevant industry backgrounds
- Strong understanding of competitive offerings and industry trends; international markets knowledge/experience a plus
- Proven project management, organization, and thought leadership skills
- Ability to build, lead, and maintain strong, productive teams and working relationships with internal stakeholders and external customers
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task, establish priorities and work independently under pressure and with limited supervision
- Comfortable in a global role; participating in regular meetings that span across time zones and take place outside of traditional business hours
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and presentation skills
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to develop and maintain business relationships
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across an organization
- Outstanding problem-solving skills and ability to apply the appropriate tools and level of analysis to a specific situation
