About the role
- Design, implement, and manage scalable infrastructure on AWS using Terraform, Crossplane, and Terragrunt
- Deploy and optimize containerized environments using Docker, Kubernetes (EKS, ECS), ArgoCD, and Helm
- Build and maintain robust CI/CD workflows using Bitbucket Pipelines and GitLab CI to streamline and automate software delivery
- Implement and manage observability stacks using Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, and Tempo to ensure system health and fast troubleshooting
- Write and maintain Python and Bash scripts to automate operational tasks and reduce manual toil
- Troubleshoot performance issues in Linux environments, resolve production incidents, and continually optimize infrastructure reliability and scalability
- Apply security best practices across AWS environments, ensuring compliance with internal and external standards
- Partner with software engineers, product teams, and AI engineers to streamline development processes and support application lifecycle management
- Advocate for DevOps principles, mentor peers, and help drive a culture of automation, testing, and continuous improvement
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure
- Strong experience with AWS cloud services and infrastructure management
- Deep understanding of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Crossplane, or similar tools
- Proficiency with containerization tools and orchestration platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD)
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Bitbucket, GitLab CI, or equivalent)
- Solid Linux administration and troubleshooting skills
- Strong scripting ability in Python and Bash
- Experience implementing observability and monitoring solutions (Grafana, Prometheus, etc.)
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally and communicate technical ideas to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience.
