About the role
- Act as the first point of contact for HR system queries, maintaining clear records of queries, resolutions, and process improvements.
- Troubleshoot issues and escalate more complex cases to the People Systems Manager.
- Support communication of system changes, release notes, and project updates.
- Maintain up-to-date process documentation and standard operating procedures. Identifying inefficiencies and suggesting improvements.
- Support the delivery of training for new features and system updates.
- Help develop user guides, training content, and support materials.
- Assist during system rollouts to ensure smooth adoption.
- Support GDPR compliance, data governance, and audit requirements.
- Help conduct data quality checks and work with teams to resolve issues.
- Assist with system configuration and maintenance across platforms (e.g., MyJ, Pinpoint).
- Support system integrations and implementation activities, including acquisitions.
Requirements
- **Essential**
- - Experience supporting users or customers with technical or system queries.
- - Strong organisational skills and ability to independently prioritise effectively.
- - Excellent attention to detail and confident IT capability.
- - Clear, professional communication skills (written and verbal).
- - Ability to follow structured processes while accurately documenting, tracking, and following up on tasks.
- - Problem‑solving mindset with the ability to escalate when needed.
- - Experience supporting training delivery or creating guidance materials.
- - Understanding of data security, confidentiality, and accuracy.
- - Collaborative team player with a proactive, curious approach.
- - Flexibility and adaptability in a fast‑changing environment.
- - High levels of integrity and discretion when handling sensitive employee data.
- **Desirable**
- - Experience in HR, HR systems, or a similar administrative/technical support role.
- - Exposure to system configuration, workflow management, or system implementations.
- - Experience in a fast‑paced, multi‑site, or global business.
- - Ability to analyse data and spot trends or data quality issues.
