About the role

  • Lead commercial accounting activities, including revenue recognition and expense management
  • Ensure compliance with global accounting standards and internal controls
  • Manage month-end close and prepare financial statements for commercial operations
  • Collaborate with commercial teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making
  • Oversee trade spend accounting, including validation, reconciliation, and matching of accruals against actuals across multiple channels and promotional types
  • Partner with commercial and sales finance teams to ensure accurate tracking and forecasting of trade spend commitments
  • Analyze variances between planned and actual trade spend to identify root causes and support corrective actions
  • Maintain robust accrual matching processes to ensure financial integrity and timely recognition of liabilities
  • Drive process improvements and automation initiatives
  • Support audits and maintain audit-ready documentation
  • Monitor KPIs and ensure timely reporting

Requirements

  • 6 - 8 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in commercial operations
  • Strong knowledge of revenue recognition and expense accounting
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
