About the role

  • Develop & implement local brand & category strategies with an emphasis on executing global marketing/trade marketing strategies with adaptations to suit the New Zealand consumer and trade dynamics
  • Focus on increasing Reckitt's instore presence across all categories
  • Strengthen Reckitt brands with consumers
  • Optimize product assortment and promotional strategy
  • Achieve excellence through instore (4p) execution cross key customers/key accounts via local success models
  • Develop and execute the brand & trade strategy plan for your products in NZ by working with global and local cross functional teams
  • Lead the S&OP forecasting process for your portfolio
  • Work directly with the ANZ supply team to ensure a strong service level for the supply of your brands in the NZ market
  • Monitor market performance and ensure the successful implementation of plans
  • Support the sales team in creating customer presentations

Requirements

  • Experience in a blue-chip FMCG company with a proven track record of success with local retailers
  • Experience influencing and engaging key stakeholders in customer organisations
  • Functional experience in a mix of marketing, trade marketing, brand marketing & category roles
  • Results oriented - Tenacious and resilient, driven to achieve even when faced with obstacles
  • Strong communication, both written and verbal - Fluent in English
  • Strong understanding of sales and marketing strategy and planning issues
  • Strong financial acumen, comfortable and skilled in data analytics
  • Can develop forecasts, identify trends, monitor performance against KPI's & track spend budget
  • Strong analytical skill with the ability to develop strategies, tactics & measurable implementation
