About the role
- Work on a wide array of Mocap driven character animations.
- Assist and deliver quality animation based on creative briefs.
- Delivering against client requirements and ensuring creative continuity across projects.
- Attend dailies to ensure that work delivered is to schedule and is at the level expected from our clients.
- Manage own workload to keep to agreed timelines.
- Join existing projects and collaborate with VFX/animation teams to produce game animations.
Requirements
- Expertise within using Maya to create engaging animation performances.
- Experience working with Mocap data is essential.
- Strong technical background in Maya with efficient rigging knowledge is desirable.
- Deep understanding of animation within visual effects for games/film/television.
- Experience as a Senior Animator within a VFX/Animation studio.
- Ability to manage own work day to keep to agreed timelines.
- Experience delivering motion capture focused productions and keyframe animation.
- Available for freelance contract work.
