💰 $140,000 - $160,000 per year
About the role
- Responsible for originating new business by assisting to develop new and existing customer relationships and communicating Reactivate’s story to key customers and stakeholders
- Support execution of deal strategies and assist with market analysis
- Prepare and review financial models, customer proposals and various deal materials for power purchase and offtake agreements
- Conduct targeted outreach to develop new business opportunities and relationships
- Identify and assess potential changing market dynamics or fundamental drivers that could impact price
- Analyze and develop different structures for the customer including risk mitigation solutions to ensure effective risk management assessment
- Support deal execution – draft term sheets, assist in negotiations and manage internal reviews
- Collaborate with Legal, FP&A and Asset Management to ensure alignment throughout transaction lifecycle
- Prepare materials for internal leadership review and periodic market updates
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- Master’s degree preferred
- Demonstrated track record of selling power
- Experience in community solar and distributed generation (DG) markets, projects or related resources
- 3-5 years of experience in energy origination, structured transactions, PPAs or related commercial energy roles
- Demonstrates an excellent understanding of US power markets and an ability to assess, evaluate, and offer insights into evolving market conditions
- Possess a working knowledge of RTO operations, electric transmission and power generation and storage technologies
- Exhibits excellent oral and written communication skills, including substantial experience in proposal and presentation preparation
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, familiarity with CRMs
