About the role
- Ensure smooth collaboration between different Supply Chain teams (sales, logistics, accounting and procurement) and act as a back-up where needed to guarantee operational continuity
- Coordinating the flow of information and administration between regional sales offices and suppliers regarding existing and new purchase orders
- Validating and following up on sales orders registered by the sales offices
- Monitoring deliveries and payments in close cooperation with the logistics and accounting teams
- Handling supplier claims related to price, weight and quality discrepancies
- Monitoring and managing inventory levels
- Providing support in the preparation and follow-up of accurate forecasts
- Providing cross-functional support to colleagues within the Supply Chain department and acting as back-up during colleagues’ absence or on their 4/5th working day, ensuring continuity of daily operations
Requirements
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree
- Preferably, you have several years of experience in order handling or supply chain
- You have knowledge of Incoterms; a maritime background is considered a plus
- You have an excellent command of English and strong communication skills
- You have a pragmatic and accurate working approach
- You are well organised and stress-resistant
- As a true team player, you quickly find your way across different departments and enjoy working cross-functionally
