About the role
- Responsible for managing and expanding our customer portfolio within the animal nutrition sector.
- Work closely with both existing and potential customers to understand their needs and provide appropriate nutritional solutions.
- Play a crucial role in achieving our sales objectives and strengthening our market position.
- Manage and expand the customer portfolio as a preferred partner within the Belgium-Netherlands region and some key customers in the EU.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
- Identify new business and market opportunities.
- Prepare and follow up on quotes and sales contracts.
- Pursue sales objectives.
- Work intensively with internal teams, including logistics and sales support, to ensure efficient service delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., veterinary medicine, animal sciences, economics).
- At least 3-8 years of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent negotiation skills and commercial insight.
- Strong communication and social skills.
- Good command of MS Office and ERP systems.
- Knowledge of quality management systems and relevant certifications (FAMI-QQ, FCA, ISO) is a plus.
- Solution-oriented thinking and a positive attitude.
- Good knowledge of English, Dutch and French is crucial to build a good partner relationship.
- You are a commercial talent who can work independently, organized, and result-oriented.
