About the role

  • As Sales Executive, you will be responsible for expanding our customer base generating new revenue.
  • Reporting to the PAT Sales Team Manager, you will be expected to exceed revenue goals by planning and executing successful sales within the tradesmen industry.
  • You will be responsible for acquiring and possessing expert knowledge of Rated People’s products.
  • You will be expected to work on business development projects to reach potential premium clients.
  • Engage with and attract high-quality tradespeople, building strong and lasting relationships.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets by converting inbound leads through a consultative, value-led sales approach.
  • Own the full sales cycle end to end, from prospecting and discovery through to presentation, negotiation, and closing.
  • Accurately forecast sales performance and manage all activity within Salesforce CRM.
  • Build trust and rapport with tradespeople, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor.
  • Contribute to business development initiatives, including identifying and nurturing potential premium clients.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a B2B sales environment.
  • Background in telemarketing and/or lead generation.
  • Strong phone-based sales experience is essential; client-facing relationship management experience is highly desirable.
  • A consistent track record of building customer trust and long-term relationships.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and persuasive skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while delivering strong results.
  • Experience using CRM systems.
