About the role
- Create hook-driven short-form video and motion content across clients' social channels (LinkedIn, Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts).
- Develop creative concepts and compelling hooks that drive engagement within the first few seconds.
- Edit raw footage into polished short-form content using Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
- Design and animate branded assets and transitions using After Effects or equivalent software.
- Create graphics, thumbnails, and promotional materials; capture and edit still imagery to complement video content.
- Write engaging, on-brand captions, headlines, and social-first copy.
- Format and tailor content for platform-specific best practices.
- Monitor social media and legal marketing trends to pitch timely ideas.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to plan and maintain a regular publishing cadence.
- Use engagement analytics to iterate and improve future content.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience producing short-form video content professionally.
- Strong portfolio showcasing hook-driven video editing, motion graphics work, and social-first creative work.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator).
- Proficiency in social media management platforms such as Buffer, Agorapulse, Hootsuite, or similar
- Experience with Meta Business Suite, TikTok Business Center, and YouTube Studio
- Familiarity with Figma for design collaboration
- Working knowledge of AI tools, including ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and comparable emerging technologies
- Familiarity with social media trends, meme culture, and visual storytelling.
- Excellent communication, time management, and creative thinking skills.
- Self-starter comfortable working in a remote environment.
- Nice to have: Familiarity with scheduling and publishing tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Later, Hootsuite, native platform schedulers).
- Nice to have: Understanding of social media KPIs and analytics to inform content performance decisions.
- Nice to have: Legal industry knowledge is a plus, but not required
