💰 $160,000 - $215,000 per year
About the role
- Own the HRIS product roadmap, prioritization, and long-term vision
- Act as the primary partner to external HRIS implementation and support vendors
- Translate business needs into clear system requirements and design decisions
- Establish and enforce governance, including intake, prioritization, and release management
- Serve as the final decision-maker on system design tradeoffs (configuration vs. customization)
- Drive adoption through enablement, training, documentation, and change management
- Ensure data quality, process consistency, and audit readiness
- Partner closely with People, Finance, IT, Legal, and Compliance
- Manage and mentor the HRIS Engineer
Requirements
- 6–10+ years of HRIS experience with deep HRIS exposure
- Prior ownership of HRIS in a production, post-go-live environment
- Preferred experience implementing HRIS
- Strong stakeholder management and decision-making capability
- Experience managing vendors and HRIS implementations
- Comfort setting boundaries to protect system integrity
- Strategic mindset with strong operational judgment
