💰 $160,000 - $215,000 per year

About the role

  • Own the HRIS product roadmap, prioritization, and long-term vision
  • Act as the primary partner to external HRIS implementation and support vendors
  • Translate business needs into clear system requirements and design decisions
  • Establish and enforce governance, including intake, prioritization, and release management
  • Serve as the final decision-maker on system design tradeoffs (configuration vs. customization)
  • Drive adoption through enablement, training, documentation, and change management
  • Ensure data quality, process consistency, and audit readiness
  • Partner closely with People, Finance, IT, Legal, and Compliance
  • Manage and mentor the HRIS Engineer

Requirements

  • 6–10+ years of HRIS experience with deep HRIS exposure
  • Prior ownership of HRIS in a production, post-go-live environment
  • Preferred experience implementing HRIS
  • Strong stakeholder management and decision-making capability
  • Experience managing vendors and HRIS implementations
  • Comfort setting boundaries to protect system integrity
  • Strategic mindset with strong operational judgment
