About the role
- The Counsel will have primary day-to-day responsibility for reviewing, analyzing and executing on commercial commitments
- The Counsel will be actively involved in change orders, claims, disputes, arbitration and litigation
- Working with other members of management and compliance to ensure all regulatory requirements are met
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree and Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
- Admission to the New York Bar as an attorney qualified to practice law
- A minimum of two years of legal practice with knowledge of the construction industry
- expertise in drafting a broad spectrum of complex contracts and agreements
- strong negotiating and litigation and ADR skills
