About the role
- Maintain, monitor, and optimise internal IT infrastructure
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents across servers, storage, networking, virtualisation, and cloud‑adjacent systems.
- Perform routine maintenance, patching, upgrades, and configuration changes in line with security and compliance requirements.
- Ensure high availability and resilience of internal systems through proactive monitoring and capacity planning.
- Creation of automation to ensure repeatable tasks are optimised.
Requirements
- Must be able to pass an SC Security Check (UK Based, Passport holder 5+ yrs minimum)
- Experience in high‑trust, high‑security environments
- Broad knowledge of infrastructure technologies across Windows, Linux & Firewall platforms
- UK Public Sector experience (advantage)
