About the role

  • Establish and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with client management
  • Ensure a clearly defined value proposition for our clients
  • Perform audit procedures with a focus on complex and specialized issues
  • Plan audit objectives in accordance with professional standards and a risk-based approach
  • Develop a deep understanding of industries, KPIs, market and technology trends
  • Conduct business development activities to expand our German client base
  • Provide technical leadership and development for staff, including delegation, feedback and coaching
  • Leverage modern technologies to increase efficiency and share knowledge
  • Work closely in an interdisciplinary manner, particularly with the tax advisory practice
  • Moderate travel requirements and increased workload during the busy season (January–mid-April)

Requirements

  • Several years of professional experience in external audit or Audit & Assurance
  • Completed bachelor’s or master’s degree with a focus on accounting, financial reporting or taxation
  • Business-fluent German (spoken and written) and very good English skills for research, correspondence and communication
  • Strong team orientation as well as leadership and a sense of responsibility
  • High level of integrity and professionalism
  • Analytical strength and excellent communication and writing skills
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
  • Openness to and interest in networking, technical presentations and seminar delivery
