Design and implement sales strategies to lead the Canadian sales team achieve sales goals, through both self-generated outbound business and maximizing inbound lead opportunities
Create a customer-oriented, high-performance sales culture through an appropriate combination of technology, teamwork, and process.
Oversee and actively manage sales activities and key performance metrics daily.
Actively manage and drive funnel growth and provide reliable forecasts to senior management on a weekly basis.
Identify training needs and partner with others across Culligan Quench to ensure effective delivery of training (new hire and ongoing) to the Canadian sales team
Build and maintain strong executive relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
Participate as part of the management team in the strategic growth of the business, including collaborating with various teams and peer leaders to increase net growth and maintain customer satisfaction.
Direct implementation and execution of sales policies and practices in accordance with company guidelines.
Align global campaigns with regional/local marketing needs to ensure effective localization and customization.
Requirements
Extensive experience of building a sales organization with a proven track record of driving growth
Provide collaborative plans and advisement as well as daily leadership and mentoring with team members. Challenge status quo to drive long-term success where needed.
B2B commercial experience is preferred
Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Marketing or equivalent preferred
Strong leadership and team management skills required
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, including data analysis proficiency
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and leading CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce)
Ability to provide ongoing formal and informal training to drive career development of direct reports.
