About the role
- Overview of a number of assigned cases/borrowers as part of a NPL portfolio
- Engagement in workout discussions and negotiations with borrowers, legal advisors and other related parties towards resolution of the exposure
- Independently determining effective workout strategies (consensual/ non-consensual) while ensuring prompt implementation of approved action plan
- Monitoring the relationship and the workout strategy (ie restructuring) and working closely with other internal teams (legal, loan administration, credit and committees)
- Preparing proposals for debt restructuring, settlement proposals and various action plans for management’s approval
- Engage on personalized and one to one discussions with customers on our premises
- Ensuring that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting the continued implementation of the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy.
Requirements
- Professional experience in non-performing Loans (at least 2 years, involving hands-on management of secured and unsecured loans, collections and restructuring units)
- Negotiation and communication skills and ability to interact with different debtors
- Interact effectively with different stakeholders
- Good track record in executing complex and difficult transactions, and strong financial analysis skills
- Understanding of SBL/SME industries dynamics
- Knowledge of the new legal framework and tools (i.e. foreclosure, special administration, platforms)
- Comfortable working in high pressure environments and on an agile delivery plan; and exceptional attention to detail
