About the role
- Power your future with Qualus in our Talent Acquisition department as a Sr. Talent Acquisition Business Partner.
- Achieve staffing objectives by recruiting and evaluating job candidates for assigned business leaders.
- Advise business leaders regarding best practices and market trends.
- Perform competitive analysis and drive a solid pipeline for succession planning and growth.
- Post openings positions to appropriate internet sources.
- Create an applicant pipeline and maintain throughout changes.
- Determine applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications.
- Support recommendations for best hire practices.
- Attract applicants by placing job advertisements; using newsgroups and job sites.
- Determine applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; verify references; comparing qualifications to job requirements.
- Arrange management interviews by coordinating schedules; arrange travel, lodging, and meals; escorting applicants to interviews; arranging community tours.
- Evaluate applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers; interviewing applicants on a consistent set of qualifications.
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; and participating in professional organizations.
- Provide reports to recruiting manager and other divisions as requested.
- Manage social media listings.
- Travel as necessary for conference, client meetings, candidate meetings, and headquarter events.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; business, communications, or engineering preferred.
- Minium 5 years recruiting experience for senior level positions required; utility and/or electrical field service or engineering experience preferred.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems and database usage.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to clearly convey and understand information.
- Professional and effective phone communication.
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple medium‑to‑large projects simultaneously.
- Able to shift between planned and unplanned tasks in a 24/7 emergency‑response environment.
- Use logic and reasoning to evaluate options and solve problems.
- Skilled at bringing stakeholders together and resolving differences.
- Able to recognize when issues arise or may arise.
- Works independently, adapts quickly to changing priorities, and completes critical tasks with a sense of urgency.
