About the role
- Use several years of design experience for complex design programs or products.
- Support onboarding, recruiting, and mentoring more junior designers.
- Participate in identifying appropriate design problems and opportunities within a brief.
- Work independently with guidance to solve larger, open-ended problems.
- Generate multiple credible design solutions and participate in group divergent/convergent work.
- Exhibit mastery of shared design tools and software.
- Explore, refine, and document design solutions adhering to design system guidelines.
- Participate in user insight gathering activities and analysis of observations to develop insights.
- Create communications to share user insights and design solutions that leverage those insights.
- Actively contribute to group dialogue and activities; give and receive constructive feedback.
- Communicate project plans, goals, and expected outcomes; collaborate with product, technical, and business partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
- Four or more years of relevant work experience.
- Experience in end-to-end system design, including e-commerce, portal, etc.
- Knowledge of high fidelity prototyping and testing experiences.
- Experience with user centric design overall.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design (preferred).
- Portfolio of largely professional work (preferred).
- Contributed to one or more design programs or shipped products (preferred).
