About the role
- Oversee a multi-disciplinary organization of over 100 practitioners
- Represent the India design team in global design leadership meetings
- Enforce mechanisms for consistent quality and collaboration
- Champion ethical, accessible, and AI-augmented design practices
- Own the track of Adobe’s annual Design Summit
- Find opportunities for teams to share best practices
- Provide leadership, support, and guidance to local teams
- Attract, hire, and retain top talent at scale
- Lead a 100+ person organization spanning product design and AI/ML design
- Act as a local brand ambassador for Adobe's values and initiatives
Requirements
- 20 years’ experience in the ux or product design field
- 8+ years managing managers and senior leaders
- Demonstrated success running large, multi-geo teams (80–150+)
- A visible public presence: frequent conference speaker/panelist
- Exceptional communication skills
- Proven ability to hire, develop, and retain top talent
- Experience establishing healthy design culture, rituals, and quality systems
- Adept at partnering with Product, Engineering, and Research peers
- Commitment to inclusive, accessible design and diverse teams
