About the role

  • Lead growth of QBE's cyber insurance portfolio across Continental Europe focused on new business production.
  • Collaborate with local underwriting teams to align with risk appetite and technical standards.
  • Support Cyber Product Manager for Europe on regional strategy and product development.
  • Build strong broker and client relationships; act as trusted advisor offering insight, education, and thought leadership on cyber risk.
  • Represent QBE at industry events and forums to enhance visibility and credibility.
  • Role reports to Cyber Product Manager for Europe and is production-focused.

Requirements

  • Deep experience in cyber insurance, underwriting, or business development within the European market.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record of delivering growth.
  • Technically sound, with the ability to balance production goals with underwriting discipline.
  • Excellent communicator and relationship builder, fluent in English (additional European languages are a plus).
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a collaborative spirit.
