About the role
- Support end-to-end implementation of Salesforce projects: analyse and document business and system requirements, prepare solution proposals, translate requirements into functional specifications
- Support build deliverables, plan and perform testing activities, create and execute complex test scenarios and scripts
- Provide end-user training and create end-user documentation
- Deploy solutions, stabilize and provide steady state support; respond to critical production support requests
- Document and design current and future Salesforce-enabled solutions; drive business analysis and recommendations
- Interpret technical documentation and author/update Functional Designs and Business Process Designs
- Self-manage multiple deliverables, estimate cost/time for complex enterprise solutions
- Mentor junior staff, lead meetings, and assist project managers with project plans and execution
Requirements
- 4-7 years of experience
- B.Tech/B.E./MCA (Bachelor of Technology or Bachelor of Engineering preferred)
- Formal Salesforce.com certifications strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge/experience in Salesforce Sales or Service business processes and use cases
- Good understanding of AppExchange products/solutions
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud/Pardot and Integration skills (added advantage)
- Excellent knowledge of Salesforce.com application (Sales and Service Cloud preferred)
- Understanding of Salesforce Lightning & lightning components; Salesforce Object relationships; Apex; Visualforce Pages; Triggers; Workflow rules; Page layouts; Record Types; Process Builder
- Detail oriented; ability to translate business and user requirements into detailed system requirements
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and business writing skills
- Strong organization and problem-solving skills; strong sense of urgency
- Ability to influence stakeholders and mentor junior staff
- Experience with Banking/Manufacturing/Retail/Insurance sectors (preferred)
