About the role
- Advise and coach managers on performance, feedback, and difficult conversations
- Lead investigations and resolve employee relations matters
- Guide performance improvement plans and terminations
- Ensure compliance across Canada, US, and Mexico
- Design, host, and facilitate manager training sessions (virtual) on performance management, accountability, coaching, and feedback
- Build and maintain a structured manager onboarding program for newly promoted leaders
- Lead quarterly manager forums to align expectations and share best practices
- Strengthen our performance management framework
- Support goal-setting, performance check-ins, and accountability processes
- Partner with HR Coordinator on payroll, benefits, compliance, and documentation
Requirements
- 6–10+ years in HR / People roles
- Strong employee relations experience, with the ability to handle sensitive situations confidently
- Experience coaching first-time managers and leading manager enablement programs
- Multi-country HR exposure (Canada/US; Mexico a plus)
- Comfortable balancing strategy and execution
- Confident presenter and skilled facilitator for live and virtual manager training sessions
- Experience in remote or distributed environments preferred.
