About the role

  • Advise and coach managers on performance, feedback, and difficult conversations
  • Lead investigations and resolve employee relations matters
  • Guide performance improvement plans and terminations
  • Ensure compliance across Canada, US, and Mexico
  • Design, host, and facilitate manager training sessions (virtual) on performance management, accountability, coaching, and feedback
  • Build and maintain a structured manager onboarding program for newly promoted leaders
  • Lead quarterly manager forums to align expectations and share best practices
  • Strengthen our performance management framework
  • Support goal-setting, performance check-ins, and accountability processes
  • Partner with HR Coordinator on payroll, benefits, compliance, and documentation

Requirements

  • 6–10+ years in HR / People roles
  • Strong employee relations experience, with the ability to handle sensitive situations confidently
  • Experience coaching first-time managers and leading manager enablement programs
  • Multi-country HR exposure (Canada/US; Mexico a plus)
  • Comfortable balancing strategy and execution
  • Confident presenter and skilled facilitator for live and virtual manager training sessions
  • Experience in remote or distributed environments preferred.
