About the role
- Provide exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders with payroll-related inquiries.
- Handle a high volume of inbound requests via phone and email.
- Answer payroll questions and provide guidance.
- Follow established guidelines and maintaining security for confidential payroll information.
- Work closely with internal teams on payroll/accounting-related queries.
- Review account setup and support workflows involving government agencies.
- Contribute to knowledge bases by creating and updating articles.
Requirements
- 2+ years of payroll experience.
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in Accounting.
- Strong understanding of Canadian payroll rules and legislation.
- PCP or CPM designation from the Canadian Payroll Association certification (preferred).
- Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Comfortable with working with software and adopting new technologies.
- Solution-oriented mindset.
- Ability to handle confidential information ethically and professionally.
- Active listener with customer-centered strategies.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
