About the role
- Lead, coordinate, and drive firmware feature milestones for Pure’s Direct Flash Module (DFM) products by developing objectives, schedules, processes, and communication plans
- Collaborate with system software, manufacturing, validation, and external partners across geographies to keep all stakeholders aligned on status, priorities, and risks
- Plan and coordinate DFM firmware releases, ensuring smooth integration with system software and alignment with hardware and validation requirements
- Support and improve the team’s agile practices — including sprint planning, backlog management, and cross-team syncs — to enhance predictability, velocity, and alignment
- Understand and communicate technical requirements, dependencies, and expectations; identify gaps, mitigate risks, and drive timely checkpoint decisions
- Develop and maintain dashboards and tools to provide real-time visibility into program health, progress, and risks, with clear communication to executives and cross-functional teams
- Continuously improve the efficiency, discipline, and quality of firmware development and release management processes and tools
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager
- MS in computer science, MBA or engineering management equivalent preferred
- Experience managing SW releases with predictable and frequent cadence
- Solid project and technical judgment; ability to influence a growing organization
- Take ownership of the product experience, quality, and metrics
- Solid knowledge of end-to-end best practices
- Demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical, cross-functional groups
- Will be expected to work from the Santa Clara, CA office in compliance with Pure’s policies
