About the role

  • Support management of PSEI grid components in PSE's OASIS and NAESB's Electric Industry Registry
  • Manage PSE's OASIS including TTC updates, outage information, public posting notices and documentation
  • Assist in development and maintenance of business practices, procedures, and tools for OASIS
  • Support administration of OATI production and development applications and account maintenance
  • Manage customer transmission service requests and troubleshoot tagging/submittals and technical issues
  • Ensure compliance with industry rules, standards, PSE's OATT, FERC, NERC, NAESB and WECC standards
  • Maintain and analyze back office settlement data resulting from transmission services and participation in CAISO Western Energy Imbalance Market
  • Perform financial, statistical, and operational studies to support initiatives and Clean Energy Strategy
  • Research and analyze operational data and accounting issues and recommend/implement solutions
  • Assist with Point to Point and NITs transmission monthly billing, reporting and accruals
  • Manage blanket service agreements and prepare internal and external reports including FERC Form 1 and WECC Budget Assessment
  • Create departmental study work orders; track deposits, costs, and refunds
  • Submit quarterly Transmission Contract EQR data and support FERC rate cases and formula rate updates
  • Reconcile Southern Intertie Capacity Owner BPA work orders, forecasts, and payments
  • Represent PSE at industry workgroups, perform software upgrades/improvements testing, and respond to customer inquiries

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related discipline OR equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience working in accounting or data analysis
  • Knowledge and familiarity with basic business office software
  • Able to maintain attention while performing detailed routine tasks
  • Excellent problem solving, analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively to tight deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Work effectively in matrix environment
  • Knowledge of FERC, NERC, NAESB, WECC (desired)
  • Experience working in electric industry and/or organized markets (desired)
  • Knowledge of OATI software platform, PCI, SAP (desired)
