About the role
- Provide personalized assistance to patients/caregivers with complex medical conditions
- Work directly with patients/caregivers to access PTC products
- Build positive relationships with various stakeholders
- Solve problems to help patients gain therapy access
- Communicate confidentially with stakeholders while complying with laws
- Navigate CRM system and learn internal processes
- Report Adverse Events and Product Quality Complaints
- Interpret patient insurance and health-related documentation
- Perform administrative functions
- Maintain subject matter expertise in rare diseases
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3 to 5 years of Case Management experience
- Experience with orphan/rare disease biotech environment
- Strong problem-solving and solution skills
- Ability to anticipate patients' needs
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to enter data quickly and accurately into CRM
- Bilingual/Spanish speaking is a plus
