Partner with product owners, tech leads, designers, engineers, and delivery professionals to improve capabilities from Notice of Sale up to Claims
Act as the primary interface between Technology and business areas: identify business unit requirements, create project and process specifications, coordinate project teams, ensure adherence to schedules and budgets
Lead in setting ambitious and clear product vision and communicate ‘the story’ effectively to stakeholders and team
Support the Director Business Systems Analyst and Product Owner in product vision, and coach others
Collaborate to define feature stories, assist technical design, ensure end-to-end system understanding, and review/prioritize user stories
Own end-to-end product strategy from inception and determine business value once solution is in production
Contribute to product management and roadmap activities and exercise independent judgment on complex problems
Requirements
Bachelor of Computer Science or Engineering; Analytics or experience in related fields
Experience with agile development methodologies and Test-Driven Development (TDD)
Knowledge of business concepts, tools and processes needed for making sound decisions
Ability to learn new skills and knowledge on an on-going basis through self-initiative
Excellent problem solving, communication and collaboration skills
Deep experience and/or expertise with several of the following: Project/Product Management (planning, progress monitoring, status reporting), Scaling Agile, Estimations, ROI, project life cycle
Effective communication and facilitation skills for Agile teams
Decision-Making & Critical Thinking skills
Business Acumen and ability to apply it to diverse situations
Interpersonal relationship skills and ability to work with business partners and developers
Financial Acumen (understanding financial metrics, company accounts/metrics)
Analytical Thinking to determine root causes and create alternative solutions
