Conduct review of loan documents on all new loans related to insurance requirements.
Liaise with borrowers, insurance agencies, 3rd party agencies, and prior servicers for various projects.
Notify borrowers of expirations/deficiencies where insurance does not align with loan documents.
Audit insurance renewals and compare against the Insurance Module and documents received.
Obtain evidence of renewal of certificates/policies/policy endorsements and update waiver backup as needed.
Complete insurance disbursements and assist Borrowers/Agents with insurance disputes, requirements, premium payments and cancellation notices.
Identify loans requiring force-placed insurance and connect with Asset Management and Servicing.
Assist with Escrow Analysis and Tax payments as needed.
Work in a hybrid arrangement in the Dallas office at least 3 times a week.
Requirements
5+ years of experience with commercial property insurance
A detailed understanding of loan terms, complex loan documents, capital structures, pooling, investor reporting and servicing agreements, servicing functions, and process flows.
Proven written/verbal communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Ability to multi-task and work independently in a time sensitive environment.
Experience with HUD/FHA, Fannie Mae and/or Freddie Mac (preferred).
Property and Casualty Insurance License or other insurance designations (preferred).
