About the role
- Learn the ropes of resolving customer complaints
- Review customer claims to verify they meet Manheim's policies
- Investigate basic, less complex cases
- Interface with all departments involved in the complaint
- Use appropriate resources to facilitate inspection, documentation, and communication
- Evaluate claims by obtaining, comparing, and validating information
- Prepare and facilitate communication for resolution
- Mediate disputes and negotiate repair and/or pricing of disputed vehicles
- Monitor and maintain accurate files for each arbitration case
Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or GED
- Less than 2 years of related experience
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Organizational and time management skills
- Ability to adapt in a fluid and changing environment
- Preferred 1+ years of automotive or body shop experience
- Claims adjuster experience
