Handle direct interaction with patients and their families, providing financial insurance and payment information to assist them in planning and managing their account balances related to specific services performed at the Kadlec Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) and Kadlec Clinics.
Serve as the liaison between the patient, front end collections and Revenue Cycle.
Provide financial counseling to patients, including payment and insurance guidance during difficult times.
Work as part of a team to support patient financial services and coordinate with Revenue Cycle functions.
Requirements
3 years Experience in a health care setting, preferably in an Accounts Receivable/Insurance/Billing.
3 years Experience with medical and health plan terminology, CPT codes, ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding.
3 years Experience with medical specialties and Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) procedures.
3 years Financial Counseling.
