About the role
- Responsible for overall analysis, system design, development, and support of the various complex computer applications equipment and systems.
- Maintain applications security, maintains both internally developed and vendor supplied executables within the appropriate executable paths.
- Organize, train, monitor and implement information system projects.
- Assist the Imaging Service Line in the operations of the PACS system for Imaging and Cardiology Departments.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree Computer Science or Radiology Sciences or related field. Or equivalent educ/experience.
- Within 1 year of hire: Certified DICOM Integration Professional (CDIP) or Imaging Informatics Professional (IIP) *Preferred for caregivers hired prior to February 2025. (Need to Grandfather existing caregivers without certification).
- 3 years Experience in the use of desktop software such as Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project and MS Access.
- 1 year Work related experience in the Diagnostic Imaging field.
- 1 year Current experience in the management of a PACS System at a major medical center.
