About the role
- Supports claims department by managing a high volume of calls and emails
- Assists customers with contract terms and conditions
- Initiates new claims and reviews claim files
- Verifies maintenance and payment issuance requirements
- Processes claim payments and provides updates on claim statuses
- Delivers exceptional customer service
- Performs essential administrative tasks
- Collaborates with management as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years of clerical/administrative experience
- 2+ years of customer service experience
- 2+ years of call center experience
- Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred
- Knowledge and experience within the automotive or insurance industry preferred
- Previous exposure to auto/RV warranties preferred
- Strong understanding of all contracts administered by Portfolio
- Reliable and punctual
- Detail oriented, accurate, and highly organized
- Excellent understanding of computer hardware and software, including Microsoft Office Suite
