About the role

  • Lead capture opportunities from initial pipeline to proposal handoff.
  • Collect, analyze, and share vital market intelligence.
  • Conduct detailed market research for new business opportunities.
  • Review solicitations (RFPs, RFIs, RFQs) to assist in proposal development.
  • Assess competitive advantages for new business prospects.
  • Track government contracting databases for opportunities and curate findings.
  • Conduct financial analysis of the business pipeline for executive reporting.
  • Support proposal development and inter-departmental projects.
  • Attend industry events to network and analyze emerging opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field or equivalent experience desired.
  • At least 3 years of experience in capture or business development.
  • Experience in a fast-paced federal contracting environment is a plus.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, SharePoint) and CRM applications.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines and safeguard sensitive information.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
