About the role
- Lead capture opportunities from initial pipeline to proposal handoff.
- Collect, analyze, and share vital market intelligence.
- Conduct detailed market research for new business opportunities.
- Review solicitations (RFPs, RFIs, RFQs) to assist in proposal development.
- Assess competitive advantages for new business prospects.
- Track government contracting databases for opportunities and curate findings.
- Conduct financial analysis of the business pipeline for executive reporting.
- Support proposal development and inter-departmental projects.
- Attend industry events to network and analyze emerging opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field or equivalent experience desired.
- At least 3 years of experience in capture or business development.
- Experience in a fast-paced federal contracting environment is a plus.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, SharePoint) and CRM applications.
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines and safeguard sensitive information.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
