About the role
- Lead the planning, integration, and oversight of IPSS activities such as maintenance, logistics, technology integration, training, data management, and regulatory compliance to ensure streamlined processes and reduced total cost of ownership throughout the product lifecycle.
- Coordinate resources, schedules, and technical milestones across multiple sub‑programs and task areas, ensuring alignment with quality assurance performance standards, government surveillance requirements, and mission objectives for ships, submarines, shore sites, and training facilities.
- Implement risk management, quality control, and continuous improvement practices to support government monitoring efforts, ensure contract compliance, and proactively identify and resolve performance issues that may impact mission readiness.
- Serve as the primary interface with government stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication, timely reporting, and consistent adherence to the quality assurance framework.
- Guide technical approaches, negotiate resource needs, and maintain control of program budgets, costs, and deliverables to ensure high‑quality, mission‑aligned performance.
Requirements
- A minimum of 10 years of professional experience managing large, multi‑year programs involving technical, operational, or lifecycle‑support activities.
- - Demonstrated ability to lead, plan, and integrate complex Integrated Product Support Services (IPSS) across multiple functional areas, including maintenance, logistics, technology integration, training, data management, and regulatory compliance.
- - Proven experience developing and directing both short‑ and long‑range program plans, including defining program requirements, guiding technical approaches, and aligning resources to meet evolving government needs.
- - Strong capability in coordinating schedules, resources, and technical milestones across multiple sub‑programs or task areas, ensuring consistent performance and mission alignment.
- - Expertise in risk management, quality control, and continuous improvement, with the ability to proactively identify performance issues and implement corrective actions to maintain mission readiness.
- - Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to serve as the primary interface with government stakeholders, ensuring transparent reporting, timely updates, and effective coordination.
- - Proven ability to manage program budgets, costs, and deliverables, maintaining oversight of financial and technical performance throughout the product lifecycle.
- - Experience working in dynamic environments where requirements evolve, and the ability to adapt program strategies to meet changing operational or mission priorities.
