About the role
- Create a high-performance culture that unlocks our employee potential
- Oversee the full employee lifecycle for our Americas region (Canada and the US)
- Manage the People & OM Associate to ensure administrative excellence for all People areas
- Create exemplary new joiner onboarding, induction and offboarding experience
- Act as the SME for all frontline employment law related queries & challenges
- Draft, develop and enforce all policies, procedures and handbooks relating to the AMER region
- Drive improved performance across our employees; coach managers on performance related tasks
- Create a culture that balances performance with wellbeing
- Drive initiatives that unpick employee engagement blockers
- Partner with ERG Leaders to create events and interactions that create belonging and inclusion
- Uncover opportunities to review & streamline People process to drive efficiency
- Partner with the wider IT & OM teams to ensure office space fits employee needs
- Collaborate with Head of People & Talent (AMER) and global People Team to create global People projects
Requirements
- A current, active CHRP designation is mandatory for this role
- Previous experience advising on Canadian employment law & matters is mandatory for this role
- Previous experience advising on US employment law & matters is preferred, but not required, for the role
- Previous experience overseeing & managing the entire employee life cycle is mandatory for this role
- Previous experience working in a People capacity in a commission led or target driven environment is highly preferred but the role
