About the role
- Focus on hunting, developing and closing business with small to mid-sized organizations (up to 2500 employees) across New Zealand
- Establish strong business relationships at the executive level and with technical staff
- Conduct sales presentations and coordinate multiple resources within an account
- Work with Sales Engineers and Product Specialists to prepare account strategies and plans
- Partner with marketing and channel to gain access into new accounts
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Proofpoint’s competitive positioning in the marketplace
- Strong operational excellence, including forecast accuracy and Salesforce pipeline development
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years Sales experience generating net new business
- Demonstrated consistent 100%+ Quota Attainment
- Proven experience selling a complex multi-product architecture to organizations
- Experience selling into C-level Executives to Evaluator-level Engineers
- Experience managing an entire sales cycle from start to finish
- Minimum 1–2 years Cold Calling experience (not tech, SaaS or Security specific)
- Technical aptitude and ability to learn new business and technical concepts quickly
- Ability to travel 50% of the time
