About the role

  • Focus on hunting, developing and closing business with small to mid-sized organizations (up to 2500 employees) across New Zealand
  • Establish strong business relationships at the executive level and with technical staff
  • Conduct sales presentations and coordinate multiple resources within an account
  • Work with Sales Engineers and Product Specialists to prepare account strategies and plans
  • Partner with marketing and channel to gain access into new accounts
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Proofpoint’s competitive positioning in the marketplace
  • Strong operational excellence, including forecast accuracy and Salesforce pipeline development

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years Sales experience generating net new business
  • Demonstrated consistent 100%+ Quota Attainment
  • Proven experience selling a complex multi-product architecture to organizations
  • Experience selling into C-level Executives to Evaluator-level Engineers
  • Experience managing an entire sales cycle from start to finish
  • Minimum 1–2 years Cold Calling experience (not tech, SaaS or Security specific)
  • Technical aptitude and ability to learn new business and technical concepts quickly
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time
