About the role
- Drive strategic alignment and execution with top-tier distribution partners
- Deliver measurable results through effective management of channel partners and increasing Promethean’s market share
- Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners, resellers and applicable strategic alliance partners
- Work with the distributor partner to identify and target new indirect partners aligned with Promethean’s growth strategy
- Lead quarterly business reviews and performance tracking
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, operations, and finance to ensure partner success and execute on goals
- Manage distribution inventory levels to ensure the right product mix is in distributor warehouses based on pipeline
- Serve as the primary point of contact to address and resolve conflicts or issues between channel partners
- Streamline processes, reduce friction, and improve partner performance metrics
- Manage contracts and agreements with channel partners, initiate negotiations, and coordinate with legal for final review
- Stay informed about market trends, competitive activities and partner needs to identify opportunities for growth
- Develop and deliver training programs for channel partners to enhance product knowledge of Promethean products and solutions
Requirements
- 10+ years of distribution channel management experience in the technology industry
- Proven success in managing large-scale distribution relationships in the hardware and software space
- Strong ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with partners and internal teams
- Deep understanding of 2-tier distribution models and channel dynamics
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to help develop and execute channel strategies that achieve business goals
- Thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Experience with Salesforce, partner portals, and performance dashboards
- Understanding of the AV/UC/IT technology space and Promethean’s products and solutions offering
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 50-75% travel
- Remote work, preferably located in South Carolina
- For business reasons, Promethean does not employ individuals who work remotely in San Francisco, San Jose or Oakland
