About the role

  • Drive new customer adoption and growth within our Prolific For Research sales team
  • Work closely with Customer Success, Growth, and Customer Marketing to land and expand in a defined list of target customers
  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification to negotiation and closure
  • Include new customer acquisition, competitor displacement strategies, and expansion engagements
  • Clearly articulate and demonstrate Prolific’s value proposition through prospect and client engagements
  • Secure and nurture relationships at all levels of client teams from end users to key business decision makers
  • Work cross-functionally with product, customer success, client services, and participant supply teams

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of new business acquisition experience within the research or analytics industry
  • Knowledge and demonstrable experience of selling to dedicated research and development teams within medium, large and enterprise organisations is a huge plus
  • A demonstrable record of sales success in a B2B environment
  • Ideally SaaS or services/agency based
  • Knowledge of selling to R&D teams and/or research personas (ie UX Research, Consumer Insights, Consumer Science, Research Scientists etc.) within medium to large-sized corporate/enterprise clients
  • Experience working with usage-based commercial models in a land and expand motion
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to engage at all levels across a global business
  • Exceptional collaborator, highly creative and resourceful
  • Thrives in a scale-up environment, operating with experimental and growth principles in mind
