About the role
- Drive new customer adoption and growth within our Prolific For Research sales team
- Work closely with Customer Success, Growth, and Customer Marketing to land and expand in a defined list of target customers
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification to negotiation and closure
- Include new customer acquisition, competitor displacement strategies, and expansion engagements
- Clearly articulate and demonstrate Prolific’s value proposition through prospect and client engagements
- Secure and nurture relationships at all levels of client teams from end users to key business decision makers
- Work cross-functionally with product, customer success, client services, and participant supply teams
Requirements
- 3-5+ years of new business acquisition experience within the research or analytics industry
- Knowledge and demonstrable experience of selling to dedicated research and development teams within medium, large and enterprise organisations is a huge plus
- A demonstrable record of sales success in a B2B environment
- Ideally SaaS or services/agency based
- Knowledge of selling to R&D teams and/or research personas (ie UX Research, Consumer Insights, Consumer Science, Research Scientists etc.) within medium to large-sized corporate/enterprise clients
- Experience working with usage-based commercial models in a land and expand motion
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to engage at all levels across a global business
- Exceptional collaborator, highly creative and resourceful
- Thrives in a scale-up environment, operating with experimental and growth principles in mind
