About the role
- The Production Manager oversees the full production process, ensuring operations run efficiently, quality standards are upheld, and production goals are met through effective management of rotational molding, workforce, and materials. Execute production schedules and allocate resources (materials, molds, labor) based on customer orders and inventory levels to ensure optimized production flow. Monitor daily production activities to maintain smooth operations, ensuring adherence to SOPs while identifying and resolving bottlenecks, equipment issues, and staffing challenges. Collect, organize, and analyze production data while monitoring KPIs (cycle time, scrap rate, downtime, and equipment utilization) to identify trends, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities. Use data analysis to identify root causes, recommend improvements, and work with cross-functional teams to implement and track solutions. Foster a culture of teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement while collaborating across departments to align production goals and ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; 3–5 years of relevant experience or equivalent education and training accepted. Strong leadership and motivational skills. Proficient with computers and software tools. Knowledge of inventory management. Skilled in preparing clear, accurate reports. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. Proficient in English with strong written and verbal communication skills. Solid math skills, including basic operations and converting decimals to fractions. Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift with full range of motion. Use of hands, arms, and fingers for reaching, grabbing, and lifting. Able to regularly lift and move up to 50 lbs. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception.
