About the role
- Working on either implementing shiny new clients or helping existing clients with their projects and changes (or both).
- Implementations: installing and configuring our system to meet our client’s needs and building successful and lasting relationships with our clients.
- Working on existing client projects: helping everyone understand what’s needed and how we deliver it.
- Ensuring clients can configure the software to meet their needs and making sure what we do for them is the right thing and understood by everyone.
- Collaborating with project managers, implementation consultants, testing, and core product developers.
- Documenting requirements and identifying solutions.
- Using clear and appropriate language for clients and internal stakeholders.
- Helping clients and the business identify business improvements, assess feasibility, and communicate benefits.
- Supporting recognition of risks to delivery or dependencies impacting delivery.
- Translating business requirements into functional and non-functional requirements.
- Producing documentation: specifications, dependency mappings, and process flows.
- Using data modelling practices to analyse findings and create suggestions for strategic and operational improvements and changes.
- Identifying processes and information technology required to introduce recommendations.
Requirements
- Experience of working as a technical Business Analyst in a pensions, financial services or IT environment.
- Great communication with all stakeholders
- Sound technical knowledge.
- Experience of requirements gathering to support the configuration and development of software, ideally pensions or other financial services related systems and web.
- High degree of numeracy.
- Excellent team worker with good time management and work planning abilities.
- Be self-motivated and capable of working independently.
- Sweat the detail on data analysis and documentation (including architectural / design documentation)
- Be hard working and willing to go the extra mile when needed.
- Be apt at problem solving and breaking down a requirement.
- Be able to define what success looks like.
- Be able to multitask effectively.
- Have excellent organisational and time management skills.
