About the role
- Oversee and maximize sales through the retail sales channel at Aeon Bukit Tinggi
- Report directly to the Retail Store Manager and act as a key member of PRISM+ Malaysia
- Manage, count, verify, and reconcile daily cash register sales
- Greet customers professionally and recommend products based on needs
- Perform opening and closing procedures according to store policies
- Process and replenish merchandise and ensure stock availability
- Co-lead retail team to maintain visual merchandising and cleanliness standards
- Motivate and encourage the team to foster positive working relationships
- Recruit, hire, train, and onboard new store employees
- Create and manage store schedules
- Set, monitor, and achieve/exceed retail sales targets
- Provide timely sales reports and analysis; recommend actions and flag risks
- Work with company management to plan and implement incentives and sales push plans
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of managerial experience in the retail industry
- Well versed in retail store processes and systems, proficient in Excel/ PowerPoint
- Prior experience in malls landlord relations
- Data-driven with ability to analyse data for stocks forecasting
- Strong Communication (English/Chinese/Malay) and people skills
- Passionate in engaging customers and providing excellent service
