About the role
- Develop and strengthen relationships with Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) and NHS partners, ensuring placements are clinically appropriate, outcomes-focused and aligned to local system priorities.
- Work closely with commissioners to understand market requirements to allow appropriate development of existing services and provide guidance on the need for new services.
- Play a pivotal role in driving sustainable occupancy and service growth for specialist residential ABI services.
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to achieve budgeted regional census across all services
Requirements
- Strong analytical skills, with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including report writing and presentation capabilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Experience in business development, commissioning, or referral management within NHS-facing health or social care services
- Strong understanding of ICB structures, commissioning processes, and NHS pathways
